Motivation for your Dream…

Embarking on a new project usually takes a lot of time and a lot of effort before really coming to fruition. So, you absolutely have to be patient with the situation (and yourself) even if it’s difficult and demotivating.

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go. ~ T. S. Eliot

When our plans don’t quite work out (or are taking a long time to get there) it’s easy to compare ourselves to someone else who seems to be doing much better. Don’t allow this comparison to steal your thunder!

Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm. ~ Winston Churchill

Try not to feel overly discouraged about the slow progress of your dream. It’s okay to have a moment where you acknowledge the situation and consider where you’re at, but, this moment should have healthy boundaries to help you to feel inspired again… rather than make you feel worse off.

Have patience with all things, But, first of all with yourself. ~ Saint Francis de Sales

There’s nothing wrong with putting a dream on hold until another time. Hopefully, when you come back to it, you’ll have processed what contributed to things not working out and have an action plan of what to do different moving forward.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream. ~ C. S. Lewis
